What can be treated at TCM-Tang?

What kind of treatment will I receive?

All treatments begin with an initial consultation where a TCM diagnosis will be made. Based on the result, the treatment will follow. This could be acupuncture, Tuina-massage, cupping, moxibustion, herbal medicine or some combination of the above. The key point is that the treatment will be made according to each individual based on your mental, physical, spiritual and environmental state. We will have regular check-ins to ensure you are consistently receiving the correct treatment for your needs and at the appropriate amount.

Can TCM-Tang treatments be covered by my health insurance?

I am a recognised member of EMR, ASCA and SBO- TCM (Professional Association of TCM). The treatments can therefore be reimbursed by most health insurance providers as long as an additional, alternative or complementary insurance is completed. We recommend that you check with your insurance company before the start of your treatment as to whether and to what extent the treatments are covered.

How long does a TCM treatment typically last for and how much does cost?

The first visit is usually about 60 – 75 minutes long, which includes the consultation and health assessment. The duration of each treatment varies depending on the type of treatment. However, on average, each treatment lasts between 50-70 minutes. The cost per session range from CHF 150 to 170 (with the exception of diagnosis and herbal therapy).

Where can I get my herbal medicine?

Herbal medicine prescriptions can be provided by TCM-Tang. The herbal medicine will then be delivered to your local pharmacy from Dr. Noyer or Complemedis in Switzerland.
